French Coffee Market Bowl

Joyeux Dimanche Funday! Or, for my fellow English speaking friends, Happy Sunday Funday! This week we had the privilege of hosting a lovely couple from Southern France. It was beautiful sharing God’s love, music, food and laughs even if for just a few short days. Shélomie and Philippe are working to build and start a wellness retreat in Southern France; a warm, comforting, relaxing yet fun place where you can go to improve your spiritual and physical health alike. A place where you have the opportunity to learn about/share in God’s love and amazing grace as well as learn about health and how to be the best you. Make sure to check out their Facebook page and show them love and support!

Proverbs 16: 3 NKJV “Commit your works to the LORD, and your thoughts will be established.”

If you are a close follower of my “blog-ventures” you have probably noticed that I am a lover of the coffee variety of beans… and they happened to pick us up some from London! (Thank you Shélomie and Philippe!) Oh boy, it was so delicious!

Have you tried this brand of coffee? What do you think of it?

While they were here they also helped us with painting a sign for a local flea market. It was really fun to come together to help out a friend in need.

Shélomie, Philippe, Mama and me! Such a fun memory.
Fun Fact: The term flea market comes from the French “marché aux puces” which was the name given to a market in Paris that specialized in shabby second hand items. (The kind that might contain a flea or two…) So, that fact that it’s name has French origins and we had help from our French friends makes this sign rather authentic!

Let’s see… what else happened this week? Oh yeah… me and Mama go to a workout class three times a week and two, not one but, two times this week either the instructor didn’t show, or the time was off and we ended up in harder classes… of course we took the challenge and did just fine. (As Philipians 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”) It shows that no matter what you think you are going to be doing it is best to always be ready for the unexpected. Remember: if God brings you to it.. He can bring you through it.

Proverbs 19: 21 New King James Version  (NKJV)

“There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the LORD’s counsel – that will stand.”

As for today? You know today was the Superbowl right?! …well, we aren’t too much into football around here so instead we had friends over and called it the Sushi-Bowl. Sharing food and fellowship with family and friends is such a blessing. I am so grateful to have the beautifully blessed life that I do; Praise God! For it is all through Him.

Acts 2: 42 New King James Version  (NKJV)

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Matthew 14: 13-21
Acts 2: 42
Acts 2: 42
Acts 2: 42

As always, I pray that you enjoyed this Sunday Funday! I love sharing this beautiful life God has blessed me with, with you! God bless and I will see you soon for Wordy Wednesday
